How To Tackle Your Goals

 


We are almost two weeks into the new year and we all have set new goals. But setting goals that are not attained can be frustrating and discouraging. There are three steps to tackling your goals that you can follow in 2025: make the goals, make time for the goals, and make the goals happen.

1. Write Them Out

Make the vision plain. Write out your goals on something big like a poster and put it in an area that you can see everyday so you are reminded. Being reminded of your goals gives you the renewed motivation to go after them.

2. Time Management

Managing your time wisely will allow you to set aside the time you need to accomplish your goals. Your goals will not be accomplished overnight. If you are trying to lose weight, set aside at least 30 minutes a day to work out. If you are trying to save more money, set aside at least an hour per week to go over your finances. You have to make time for what you want.

3. Execution

James 2:14 tells us that faith without works is dead. It is good to set goals and set aside the time to accomplish them but you must also execute. You must also put in the work necessary to attain your goals. And remember, goals do not work unless you do. The only way to obtain and achieve your goals is to consistently work towards them. So you set aside the time to work out every day, actually work out. You set aside the time every week to go over your finances, actually stick to your budget.
