Rihanna aka Robyn Fenty aka Bad Gal RiRi was officially named the world's wealthiest female musician by Forbes. Her net worth is approximately $600 millionSIX HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS.

If you have not already read my last post, I wrote about Beyoncé and her amazing Netflix documentary. And I am by no means trying to compare the two, but Rihanna is now $200 million richer than Beyoncé! Whew, chile.

I have always been a fan of Rihanna. Perhaps it is because Music of the Sun was the first CD I ever owned or because I am also an island gyal (Jamaican) or because I absolutely love her style. Either way, I am ecstatic about her success.

Rihanna has not released any music in three years and many of her fans have been begging her to make new music. She is currently working on a reggae album. With her much success in her business entities, Rihanna could hold off on releasing new music (although I am greatly anticipating this reggae album!) and be financially secure for life.

In September 2017, Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty, a collection of makeup that includes fifty different shades of foundation. It was selling out quick and within a month of its release, Fenty Beauty gained a profit of $72 million. It really is a great cosmetic line considering the boss woman in charge of it all. The quality is superb. I only own a few Fenty Beauty items (cause priorities) but I am looking to try out some of their latest products (be on the lookout for my review).

As if a cosmetic line wasn't enough, in May 2018, Rihanna launched Savage x Fenty, a lingerie line. And this past May, she released a clothing line, Fenty, in partnership with LVMH (meaning I cannot afford any of it). Rumor has it that she is coming out with a skincare line next. If this is true, I am finna be broke broke.

There was also a rumor spreading around on Twitter in late 2017 that Robyn was opening a winery and releasing her own wine. It was later confirmed that this was false. But it sure would have been nice to be drinking a glass of Fenty Rosé while lounging around the house in my Savage x Fenty. Regardless, Rihanna has been all about her business and I ain't mad at her. She has been influencing me to secure my own bag.
