My Current Faves + Drugstore Makeup

So it's been a minute since I've done a makeup post. About two years ago, I discovered the magic of drugstore makeup. Before, I was spending all my coins at Sephora buying all the expensive, name-brand makeup. But I've learned that drugstore makeup is not only reasonably priced, but the quality is almost identical to the name-brand makeup (almost). Here's a few of my favorite drugstore makeup and my thoughts on them (from left to right):

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Hydrofuge Mascara: I love mascara, period. I have so many mascaras, but this is one of my most recent favorite drugstore mascaras. It's waterproof and it does the job.
L'Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner: I hardly ever wear eyeliner but I needed a new one. I like how it's not exactly a liquid eyeliner but it's a mix between a pencil eyeliner with a creamy feel so it applies very easily. Maybe I'll wear eyeliner more now?
L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Mademoiselle Pink: This shade is one of my favorites! It's a soft, subtle pink that's perfect for springtime.
Maybelline New York FIT Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation in Natural Tan: THIS STUFF IS EVERYTHING. I used to use Clinique foundation, which is great, but it costs $30 a pop and I have to go to Nordstroms or Macys to buy it. But THIS STUFF is like $8 bucks and I can easily find it at Target or Walmart. Mind you, I go through it faster than Clinique foundation. I first received this Maybelline foundation from Influenseter for free about a year ago and ever since I've been using it. The shade fits me perfectly!
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: This is a "knock-off" Beauty Blender but it works well. After about a few weeks, I usually just throw it out and buy a new one cause I get tired of washing it over and over. I tend to wet it before applying my foundation. It applies my foundation evenly and doesn't absorb all of it like those little white disposable makeup sponges/wedges.
Maybelline New York FIT Me! Matte + Poreless Powder in Translucent: So, I also used to get a pressing powder with Clinique which was good at keep my face matte and controlling my oil, but it wasn't translucent so it made my face look very cakey. This powder doesn't control all my oil/shine but it gives me a natural look and feel.
NYX Suede Matte Lip Liner in Soft-Spoken: I like that it's matte and I really like the shade. I paired it with the NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick and it had a nice ombre effect.
NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Baby Doll: Okay, so it applies very smoothly but at first I was not feeling the shade at all. But after a few hours once I allowed it to set on my lips, I started liking it. It still has that matte, dry feeling that I do not like. And the shade is like two shades lighter than me so it's like a nude brownish, light pink color which I like.
Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lipstick in Coral Gleam: This is comparable to the MAC Cremesheen lipsticks (which are my favorites!). It has some shine to it (it's not matte) and it feels moisturizing. I love the shade, it's a orangey pink which gives me all the spring/summer feels. (Update: I think this shade has been discontinued but Maybelline has tons of other shades :P)
NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick in Sun Kissed Crush: I'm on the hunt to find some really nice drugstore highlighters (if you know of any, drop a comment). This bronzer is shimmery and gives you that sun-kissed glow. A little goes a long way! I'll definietly be using this all summer long.
NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray: Hands down a must. Spraying setting spray on my face ensures all my makeup stays in place.

Of course, I can't do a "current faves" post without posting hair/skin products. Here's some new products I have been using (from left to right):

Not Your Mother's Naturals Coconut Milk & African Marula Tree Oil High Moisture Conditioner: This was definitely an impulse buy from Ulta. I don't normally buy Not My Mother's products but I thought, why not? It smells amazing and it moisturizes my dry curls.
da Bomb Fizzers Fun Size "F" Bomb: This is my second time buying this bath bomb from Target. I absolutely love the smell of lavender--it's so calming and this bath bomb is so much fun! It turns all the water purple and it has a hidden message in each bath bomb (like a fortune cookie).
Vineyard Hill Naturals Rosewood & Vanilla Soy-wax Candle: I am not a big fan on vanilla scented stuff, but THIS candle smells too lovely. The moment I smelled it, I knew I had to buy it. Plus, it comes in a really cute pink glass votive holder.
Soap & Glory Hand Food: Once I saw shea butter listed as one of its ingredients and smelled it, I automatically knew I needed to buy it! Now I always carry this stuff with me. Not only does it smell good, but it also leaves my dry hands feeling soft and smooth.
Shea Moisture African Black Soap Clarifying Facial Wipes: Shea Moisture never disappoints! These wipes are perfect for on-the-go or to remove makeup. I like to pair it with my Shea Moisture Black Soap Facial Scrub and Toner at night time. Leaves my face feeling super fresh and clear!
