Introduction

Every time I meet someone new, and they ask that dreaded question: so what do you do for fun? I reluctantly say, I write. And for some reason people just assume I have a blog. And for some reason people seem somewhat interested in reading my blog but to their dismay I would reply, No, I don't have a blog.

So here I am. With enough convincing, I have decided to start a blog.

It will be my safe haven in a way--a place I can freely express myself. There will be tons of stories, inspirational posts, beauty and fashion tips, and an exclusive look into my everyday life.

I am all for honesty, therefore, expect some posts to be raw and transparent.

I look forward to this new venture. So many times we visualize our lives to look a certain way and 9 out of 10 times, our lives are fabricated into something completely different.

The photos below are from last summer when my sister came to visit me in New York. We explored the city that day (meaning we walked entirely too much) and one of the places we went to was the High Line.

I love the picture of me looking out towards 10th Ave because it reminds me of how prone we are to reflect on life--the good, the bad. And how we, even as adults, daydream. Hope always attempts to give us the courage to live out our dreams.

All this to say, live and enjoy life now as if all your dreams were already fulfilled. Yet, until then work hard. I am still learning to balance the two: working and living.
